As part of our team, the ideal candidate will provide regional-level support to help ensure the successful and timely completion of projects in the Environmental Department. The successful candidate is one who is responsive, organized, communicates well, and can prioritize and manage multiple tasks. This is a fast-paced and exciting role which requires frequent communication. The candidate may also act as a liaison between Terracon offices and clients to facilitate the flow of information. This position is a unique opportunity to become a key team member of a well-established national program with a history of success.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Document Control
  • Following an established system, the candidate will assist with ensuring project and document adherence to quality standards and timely completion.
  • In collaboration with a team, collect, receive, and enter data into various software systems or spreadsheets using pre-established procedures.
  • Organize data for various project documents to ensure completion and availability of project information to technical personnel and clients.

Program Support
  • As a team member, provide support for multiple projects and offices in a region.
  • Compose and proofread e-mails, letters, and other office and project documents.
  • Assist with project data collection, entry, and the coordination of overall project completion.
  • Maintain existing tracking spreadsheets with updates for ongoing tasks and overall projects status.
  • Act as liaison between staff and offices within a region to communicate project information and status.
  • Prepare specific written report sections and associated drawings and attachments.
  • Draft proposals and fee estimates for routine projects.
  • Work with individual project managers to complete assigned project tasks as needed.
  • Utilize web-based systems and programs for project delivery and support.
  • Inform project team members and clients about project schedule, status, and deliverable updates.
  • May perform other support tasks including development of plans and directives for proposed boring locations, preparation of boring logs, utility locate requests and office-coordination of drilling.
  • Follow safety rules, practices, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
  • Support the team with various administrative functions such as printing, mailing, and other support.



Requirements:
  • This is not a remote position. The candidate will work full-time in an office setting with a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be highly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Outlook (email management), Excel, Teams, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant office experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
