General Responsibilities:

The Philanthropy Coordinator is responsible for project coordination and administration support to the company’s philanthropic operations. Responsibilities include continuous improvement of processes through implementation of efficiencies, tracking and reporting for philanthropic events, administration of the Terracon Foundation, and special projects.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assess organizational systems for philanthropy department files for categorization and storage efficiencies.

  • Schedule and coordinate calls and in-person meetings relating to the foundation and other philanthropic operations.

  • Review and suggest improvements to processes as identified.

  • Responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.

  • Order necessary department materials from vendors through internal ordering systems.

  • Screen inquiries, monitor email inboxes, and respond to requests as appropriate.

  • Lead and coordinate activities for the Terracon Foundation, including administrative meetings and facilitation of grant application review.

  • Secure sponsorships for approved events and track attendance.

  • Support and grow National Partner relationships. 

  • File, track, and maintain all philanthropy department related documentation including but not limited to national partners, Corporate Community Impact Committee (CCIC), community and civic sponsorships, and the Terracon Foundation.

  • Provide back-up to Manager of Company Philanthropy when needed.

  • Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for projects. Participate in pre-task planning.

  • Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree in business administration or related field and 3 years’ related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years’ related experience. 

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high MS Office proficiency and reporting capabilities. 

  • Experience with Smart Sheet is a plus.
