Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Environmental Field Technician to join our team and support environmental testing, monitoring, and field investigation and remediation projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on fieldwork, learning technical skills, and contributing to high‑quality environmental projects. The technician will work under established procedures and receive progressive training to take on increasing responsibility over time.
- Perform basic field tests in accordance with well-defined procedures and standardized methodologies.
- Assist with the collection, documentation, and verification of survey and measurement data.
- Support the operation, monitoring, and routine maintenance of environmental remediation systems.
- Assist in the construction and installation of groundwater monitoring wells.
- Work alongside and support senior technicians on more complex assignments and technical project tasks.
- Progressively assume greater responsibility and participate in ongoing training and development activities.
- Safely operate company vehicles, such as a Ford F‑150 or equivalent, while adhering to all applicable policies.
- Follow all safety rules, standards, and project-specific guidelines; participate in pre‑task planning and promptly report any safety concerns to management.
- Maintain high quality standards for all work performed and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience or the equivalent in training and related experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.
