As a Field Facilities Professional, you’ll support assessment, consulting, testing, and evaluation services for a wide variety of facility types and building systems. Your responsibilities will include both field and office work, such as:
Field & Technical Responsibilities
- Conducting field observations, diagnostics, and performance testing of building systems
- Documenting deficiencies, system performance, and construction quality
- Collecting and interpreting field or lab data related to building enclosure, structural, mechanical, and other facility systems
- Assisting with root‑cause analysis of building performance issues
- Preparing clear, concise technical reports and recommendations
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction documentation for quality and compliance
- Supporting the development of project estimates, proposals, scopes, and schedules
- Communicating findings and explaining technical concepts to clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Helping resolve construction and operational challenges for clients

- 5–9 years of experience in construction, facilities management, building operations, or related field
- Strong understanding of building systems, construction practices, and field problem-solving
- Solid communication and technical writing skills
- Interest in consulting, facility assessments, and building performance evaluation
- Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating in a team environment
- Comfort with both field and office-based work
- Willingness to travel regionally within the Eastern Midwest (OH, KY, IN, WV, MI, Western PA)
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required—equivalent field experience is highly valued
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history us required.
