General Responsibilities:
Terracon's Oklahoma environmental team is looking for a talented addition to our Environmental Department! Terracon has an incredible team of environmental professionals and amazing clients. We are looking for a Senior Environmental Project Manager for environmental projects in Oklahoma. This opportunity can be officed out of either our Oklahoma City or Tulsa offices.
This position requires a senior level environmental professional responsible for leading complex environmental projects. Primary duties will be to provide consulting services for a broad array of environmental projects, including Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Site Investigations, Remediation, and Regulatory Compliance. The candidate must be able to identify, evaluate, and recommend remediation strategies/designs to address environmental impacts. This may include leading environmental site investigations, design and development of plans and specifications, engineering analysis, observation, inspection, and reporting. Duties will include the preparation of applicable technical documents including proposals, reports, remedial action strategies, and regulatory agency correspondence.
To be successful in this role you will need a strong technical background and relationship-building skills. You will manage projects, maintain existing and develop new client relationships. You will assess client needs, prepare reports, and develop and implement strategies to help clients achieve environmental compliance. You will also help lead local and regional environmental compliance marketing efforts.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of a small and large scale projects.
• Works with client or NAM to define project scope, schedule and budget
• Leads interactions with client and stakeholders to ensure their goals are being considered in execution of the work
• Prepare designs and work specifications; develop schedules, budgets and forecasts; select materials, equipment, project staff, and contractors.
• Conduct project meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
• Lead safety efforts for team and ensure team follows safety rules and guidelines. Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; demonstrates safety practices. Promote pre-task planning for all projects.
• Responsible for providing consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery. Engage APRs on projects at their onset.
• Experience working on OCC PSTD, ODEQ VCP/Brownfields, ODAFF, EPA Superfund projects

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline practices by the Firm including Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred Certification:
• OCC Environmental consultant
• Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) or similar professional registration/certification relevant to the type of services and projects being managed
