We are looking for a resourceful, passionate, dedicated marketing professional with strong initiative to join our Florida marketing team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented technical and client development professionals within the division and nationwide to win new business and deliver an exceptional experience
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the marketing strategy for the Florida regional offices of an engineering consulting firm. Provide consultation on strategic proposal development and management. Partner with division and corporate marketing to create and update promotional materials and digital marketing efforts. Generate and participate in tactical tradeshow/conference/project interview strategies. Manage the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
A strong eye for detail, a willingness to learn and try new strategies, and excellent time management would make for a successful candidate.
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
Manage multiple marketing projects with competing deadlines.
Collaborate with project managers and/or pursuit champions to plan, coordinate, design, edit, and produce strategic, high-quality submittals to RFP and RFQ responses.
Facilitate strategic discussions on how to increase win rate based on competitor and client research.
Aid and actively participate in the event planning and organization of tradeshows/conferences/community involvement/client appreciation gift efforts.
Maintain, utilize, and champion CRM efforts.
Provide support and miscellaneous marketing requests and firm initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related degree and 2 years of marketing and communications experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, 6 years of related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
- Strong time management and understanding of A/E/C industry.
- Attention to detail and provide quality work.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Understand basic marketing principles.
- Understand project lifecycle.
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Located in the Tampa (perferred), Sarasota or Fort Myers area. The position can be hybrid occasionally, but will require mostly in-person / in-office work.
Excellent communication skills.
A background in public relations, marketing, or copywriting.
A/E/C industry knowledge is desired.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is preferred.
Experience with a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system is a plus.
