As a Field Facilities Professional, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients prioritize capital improvements, reduce deferred maintenance, and extend the lifespan of their real estate portfolios. Your expertise will be utilized to conduct thorough facility condition assessments, including physical condition inspections and lifecycle analyses. You will also provide valuable consulting services for asset management, offering multi-year budgets and forecasts to guide our clients' financial planning. This role will also help with the Property Condition Assessments to help evaluate commercial real estate to identify physical deficiencies and forecast capital expenditures. For due diligence in real estate or financial transactions, professional PCA services provide actionable plans for asset management.
- Conduct facility condition assessments (FCAs) and physical condition inspections, evaluating structural, architectural, and MEP systems.
- Identify deferred maintenance and current deficiencies, providing objective data for capital improvement planning.
- Generate lifecycle analyses and estimates for the remaining useful life and replacement costs of major equipment and building systems.
- Develop multi-year budgets and capital planning forecasts, prioritizing repairs for short- and long-term financial strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor asset management consulting services accordingly.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in facility management and asset optimization.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, providing clear and concise reports and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, asset management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including structural, architectural, and MEP components.
- Experience in conducting facility condition assessments and physical condition inspections.
- Proficiency in using relevant software for data analysis, reporting, and lifecycle analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field assessments as required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional certification or relevant industry credentials are preferred but not mandatory.
