- The internship program runs from May – August 2026
- Co-ops run from May – December 2026
- Opportunity to work throughout the school year as well
Majors Considered:
Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Construction Engineering, Biology, Geology, or related fields

What You’ll Do:
- Work alongside experienced engineers and technicians in the field and lab
- Participate in real-world projects and client interactions
- Learn technical skills including sampling, testing, data analysis, and report writing
- Receive mentorship and career guidance from industry professionals
- Join a national intern cohort and present to executive leadership
- Environmental interns receive paid 40-hour safety training before starting
Key Learning Areas:
- Field and lab safety practices
- ASTM, DOT, COE testing procedures
- Proposal and report development
- Project management fundamentals
- Quality management systems
- Client communication and consulting best practices
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in a relevant engineering or science discipline
- Strong interest in consulting and fieldwork
- Eagerness to learn and collaborate
- High school diploma and BS degree in progress in a science or related field (environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, geology). The ideal candidate will have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
Maximum Salary: 26.6
Minimum Salary: 19.8
The expected salary range for this position is listed below. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. While all these states mentioned above have the same statement, we want to store them in separate records/templates, as the statement might change for each of these states in future.
