We’re seeking a Project Coordinator who excels at writing, editing, organization, and communication—someone who can bring clarity and precision to technical projects. This is an ideal role for candidates with an English degree or similar background who want to apply their skills in a dynamic engineering environment.
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in shaping how our work is communicated to clients, project teams, and the communities we serve. This is not a traditional engineering role—it’s a communication-centered position within a technical environment.
- Develop and refine written deliverables including technical reports, proposals, and client communications in collaboration with engineers and scientists
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and quality across project documentation, aligning with Terracon’s quality standards and client expectations
- ·Translate technical concepts into clear language, improving readability and client understanding
- Collaborate across teams (engineers, project managers, accounting, and field staff) to track project status, budgets, and schedules
- Support proposal development and client engagement, including requests for proposals (RFPs), fee estimates, and change orders
- Maintain project systems and databases ensuring accurate and timely information flow
- Track project milestones, deliverables and billing processes in coordination with project teams
- Support document control, quality compliance, and project delivery across multiple projects simultaneously
- Assist with field and engineering coordination (e.g., location planning, drilling support documentation)
• High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years’ related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to edit for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
• Fluent in Microsoft Office; comfort working with document-heavy workflows
Maximum Salary: 42.08
Minimum Salary: 29.98
