General Responsibilities:
| Provide landscape architectural and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This may include design and development of plans and specifications, site analysis and designs, calculations, and writing, preparation, and review of related reports for the services provided. Review drawings and construction to assure compliance with plans and specifications. Prepare proposals for services, track and evaluate project progress, budgets, and recommend changes. Research and resolve design and construction problems. Apply sound landscape architectural principles and be able to communicate complex issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams. Services may be provided for existing or proposed projects in the commercial, retail, multi-family, hotel, senior living, industrial and/or governmental sectors. |

| Lead safety efforts for team and ensure team follows safety rules and guidelines. Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; demonstrates safety practices. Promote pre-task planning for all projects.Responsible for continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor and promote quality standards and practices. Engage APRs on projects at their onset.Responsible for providing consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery.Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company. Be familiar with company risk policies.Senior Consulting level landscape architectural professional who acts as a resource and specialist in the application of advanced theories, concepts and principles for the landscape architectural discipline.Provide leadership, direction and promote a state-of-the art approach for the landscape architectural discipline of the firm.Capable of analyzing all technical aspects of subject area, defining scope and selecting problems for investigation, developing novel concepts and approaches, and recommending major design changes.Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating landscape architectural assignments involving unique or controversial problems which significantly affect projects.Plan, organize and supervise design landscape architectural activities for major projects of large scale and complexity.Provides consultation on quality control issues. Act as expert witness on behalf of company to clients or representing company in litigation or court proceedings.Identifies potential clients in need of consulting expertise and sells the services of the company to those clients.Participates in the development of marketing strategies and formal presentations of qualifications to clients on various projects in area of expertise.Publish technical articles, present technical papers and training seminars to technical groups to promote the professional image and reputation of the company.Known in the industry as an expert in the landscape architectural discipline. |
Requirements:
| Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.Minimum 13 years’ experience.PhD in Landscape architecture preferred.Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history. |
