Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company. Be familiar with company risk policies.
Lead safety efforts for team and ensure team follows safety rules and guidelines. Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; demonstrates safety practices. Promote pre-task planning for all projects.
Deep understanding of current regulatory standards, state licensure needs, and ensure compliance with those regulations during project implementation.
Attend client meetings.
Responsible for continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor and promote quality standards and practices.
Responsible for providing consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery.
Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to staff employees.
Capable of analyzing all technical aspects of subject area, defining scope and selecting problems for investigation, developing novel concepts and approaches, and recommending major design changes.
Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating scientific assignments involving unique or controversial problems which significantly affect projects.
Provides consultation on quality control issues.
Identifies potential clients in need of consulting expertise and sells the services of the company to those clients.
Participates in the development of marketing strategies and formal presentations of qualifications to clients on various projects in area of expertise.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or related science field and a minimum of 3 years’ related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7 years’ related experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
Required Certification:
- Certification in field of expertise required.
