Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing, developing and implementing solution using Oracle FDI for ERP and HCM. Design, code, test and debug new and existing ERP application enhancements. Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs, translate them into technical specifications, and build custom subject areas and reports. Ensure data accuracy, optimize performance, and provide training and support for users. Participate in company technology projects as needed.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Strong understanding of Oracle FDI for ERP and HCM and its components.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM data structure.
  • Familiarity with BI Publisher, OTBI, FR and Smart View
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with data integration process from various Oracle Cloud Applications.
  • Experience in designing and, developing custom semantic models, report, and dashboards within Oracle FDI environments utilizing FDI, OTBI, FR and Smart Views
  • Conduct analysis of current applications to help provide solutions for necessary enhancements and maintenance.
  • Create and/or update documentation that benefits end-users (e.g. how-to manuals) and/or other IT personnel (e.g. program documentation and IT processes).
  • Design and develop applications that utilize Terracon’s Software Development Life Process (SDLC).
  • Serve as a technical resource for other programmers.
  • Conduct research of new technologies and provide pathways to adoption with system enhancements.
  • Conduct research to answer technical questions that arise.
  • Develop specifications for project work if necessary.
  • Develop project estimates.
  • Recommend solutions.
  • Respond quickly to application errors.
  • Maintain a high and increasing level of proficiency in software and other technologies supported by the IT Dept.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the ERP system.
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Maintain quality standards on all projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 years’ experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
  • At least six years’ experience with Oracle Analytics/FDI
  • Possess skills in:
    • Technical and Functional knowledge in Oracle FDI for ERP and HCM
    • Data Warehouse concept
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of team
    • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred Certification:
  • Oracle Cloud FDI certification(s).
