Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development of predictive models and algorithms used for the automation of critical business functions. Explore and analyze information from multiple sources in order to gain maximum insight that can give the company a competitive advantage.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Implement and validate predictive models as well as create and maintain statistical models.
  • Perform data analysis from multiple data sources and derive meaningful insights from a variety of data sources.
  • Execute full modeling life cycle including data cleansing, feature creation and iterative model selection.
  • Apply statistics, modeling, and machine learning to improve the efficiency of systems and relevance algorithms.
  • Regularly participate in Agile ceremonies including daily scrum, refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Make suggestions for process improvements.
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Maintain quality standards on all projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or related technical discipline and 3-year relevant experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7 years’ related experience.
  • Experience in applying statistics, machine learning, algorithms development, predictive modeling and advanced mathematics to solve complex problems.
  • Understanding and ability to use programming languages.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
