Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of a Stage1 project to ensure that it is safely completed on time and within scope and budget. Responsible for completing the Stage1 project as per its contracted scope; monitor progress and performance against the project plan. Conducts meetings and prepares reports to communicate the status of the project-to-project team and client. Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones. Coordinates effort with Authorized Project Reviewer (APR) to make sure that APR has opportunity to engage throughout the project, particularly at critical junctures. Is involved with approving invoices, preparing change orders, and collections. Is involved with LifeCycle Management tracking the project after Stage1 transitions to traditional services.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare simple Stage1 proposals.
- Assist with preparing sections of Stage1 proposals.
- Assist with coordination of local offices to ensure Stage1 project is staffed appropriately.
- Assist with project closeout and invoicing.
- Assist with client communications.
- Assist with project tracking.
- Request and submit project documents to clients.
- Participate in client communication.
- Assist with LifeCycle Management.
- Ability to obtain Terracon Project Manager course within 6 months of hire.
- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Maintain quality standards on all projects.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
The salary range for this position is provided in compliance with all local/state regulations. Terracon considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, work location, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Terracon reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range below.
$41,600 - $58,240 annually
