Southeast Division Marketing Manager

With this in mind, we are seeking a visionary marketing leader to guide our Southeast Division’s marketing strategy, inspire high-performing teams, and drive sustainable growth. As a member of the division’s leadership team, you will be the architect of an integrated marketing agency that aligns with our strategic plan’s growth objectives, strengthens client relationships, and foster innovation in how we connect with markets and win work.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who is equally skilled at leading people, championing change, and delivering measurable business impact. You’ll partner closely with client development, operations, and national marketing to ensure every initiative contributes to growth, brand excellence, and client experience.
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
Strategist & Growth Leader
- Develop and execute divisional and regional marketing strategies aligned with business plans to accelerate growth in priority markets.
- Lead market analysis, competitive intelligence, and client insights to inform capture planning and pursuit strategies.
- Champion innovation in marketing—leveraging CRM, digital platforms, content management, AI tools, and pursuit planning processes to deliver results faster and better.
- Guide major pursuits from go/no-go through proposal and presentation, ensuring strategic positioning and client-focused messaging.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Identify and grow high-potential talent; build team structure and career pathways that align with long-term business needs.
- Promote cross-region, cross-sector and cross service-line collaboration, ensuring marketing efforts are load-balanced, integrated, and coordinated across the division.
- Champion adoption of new tools, processes, and national initiatives—including integration of AI to change our approach to market research and SOQ development, CRM integration, content automation, and digital marketing strategies.
- Lead the region through transformation by communicating vision, progress, and successes, elevating the perceived value of marketing across all levels.
- Engage in national committees and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, share best practices, and implement process improvements.
Brand & Client Experience Steward
- Ensure all marketing deliverables—branding, qualifications, proposals, and campaigns—are aligned with Terracon’s standards, values, and client promise.
- Elevate client experience by integrating consistent branding, value-driven messaging, and targeted outreach into all marketing efforts.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community activities to strengthen visibility and relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field and 10–12+ years’ relevant marketing leadership experience in the A/E/C industry (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Proven success in leading teams, developing strategic marketing plans, and delivering growth in a professional services environment.
- Expertise in pursuit strategy, proposal/SOQ development, and client capture planning.
- Strong change leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Preferred: Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) Certification and MBA.
