The employee will be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Demonstrate an ability to problem solve and implement solutions on routine to moderately complex problems with guidance from management or senior level Exploration Team Members.
- Work independently with support from a supervisor.
- Be proficient in servicing multiple drill rigs and trailer repairs where needed.
- Repair and/or replace faulty parts and systems, perform routine maintenance, i.e. oil and filter changes.
- Drive all forms of drilling equipment to test once repairs are complete.
- Inspect and complete routine maintenance of equipment.
- Follow all safety rules, guidelines and standards across project sites and office locations. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all work performed.
- Design a plan of action for any maintenance tasks or upgrades.
- Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
- Monitor the inventory on repair parts, tools, and equipment and order new parts as needed.
- Validate DOT inspections are current and schedule inspections when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-years’ experience.
- Proficient in geotechnical drilling equipment repairs.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within first 30 days of employment.
