You’ll oversee the development of annual growth plans, manage resources and budgets to ensure profitability, and collaborate with corporate teams to recruit and onboard top talent. Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Execute the initiatives of a segment of the business operating within local offices in a region.
- Develop and work with regional managers for recruitment, interview and selection process for team members.
- Oversee and ensure consistent operations and practices of regional teams by providing training, inspections, and monitoring/balancing workload.
- Monitor the performance of regional teams through site visits, safety incident investigation, quality audits and metrics.
- Provide leadership and direction on practices and workforce/equipment utilization to local management.
- Partner with other Regional Managers to develop and deliver coordinated and consistent services across all regions.
- Monitor safety, quality, and production of regional teams and provide recommendations for improvement to Division/Service Line Management.
- Assist local offices with marketing activities related to the business segment including pricing and planning.
- Manage risk related to projects. Ensure contracts are signed and fully executed prior to commencing work. Monitor adherence to corporate risk policies and practices. Hold employees accountable for mitigating or eliminating risk.
- Follow safety initiatives, rules and guidelines for the office or region and hold others, including future employees accountable for the same.
- Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Ensure best practices are being followed and hold employees accountable for quality control standards
- Bachelors or Master's degree Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related degree with a focus on building science and technology (Construction and/or Design).
- Minimum of 15 years' related experience.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
- One or more of the following industry certifications: Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC) Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC), Register Building Enclosure Consultant (RBEC), Certified Building Enclosure Commissioning Provider (CBECxP), etc..
- Professional involvement with AIA, ASHRAE, IBEC, ABAA, IIBEC, USGBC, etc. are a plus.
