As a Staff Geologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our geological and geophysical projects. Your expertise will be utilized to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and analysis. - Assist in borehole logging operations, ensuring accurate data collection and interpretation.
- Support lab sample testing procedures, maintaining quality control and providing technical guidance.
- Integrate geological and geophysical data, analyzing and interpreting results for project needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field staff, ensuring consistent and accurate data collection methods.
- Review and analyze geologic reports and data, identifying trends and providing insights for project planning.
- Collaborate with geophysicists and other specialists to ensure seamless integration of geological and geophysical data.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices, staying informed on new developments.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations, clearly communicating geological findings and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during field operations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide geological expertise to support decision-making processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in geological or geophysical field work.
- Proficiency in borehole logging techniques and interpretation of geological data.
- Knowledge of laboratory sample testing procedures and quality control measures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex geological data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for geological data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field work as required.
- Professional certification or registration as a Professional Geologist (PG) is preferred but not mandatory.
