- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to environmental staff
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and professional development
- Mange workload, utilization, and staffing needs
- Develop client relationships across energy, commercial, industrial, municipal, and real estate sectors
- Support business development activities throughout the region
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and scopes of work
- Oversee site investigation, remediation, and compliance projects
- Provide technical review for assessments, groundwater monitoring, corrective action, and remediation projects
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Manage petroleum release investigations, risk-based corrective action, and regulatory closure projects
- Maintain familiarity with RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Water Act, and Clean Air Act
- Lead safety initiatives and promote pre-task planning
- Ensure consistent technical quality and client service
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline practiced by the Firm including Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology and 5 years’ practice experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 9 years’ related experience.
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required
- Experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects
- Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- PG, PE, CHMM, or similar professional certification
- Experience leading environmental consulting teams
- Extensive experience with TCEQ, TRRP, and RRC programs
- Experience with Phase I/II ESAs, UST investigations, groundwater monitoring, and remediation
- Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status preferred.
