Provide geotechnical engineering and consulting services for a diverse portfolio of projects and clients with increasing responsibility for technical execution, project delivery, and client support. Lead and perform field investigations, subsurface explorations, construction observations, and geotechnical evaluations. Conduct engineering analyses, calculations, and develop recommendations for foundations, earthwork, slope stability, retaining structures, pavements, and other geotechnical engineering applications.
Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports, technical memoranda, plans, specifications, and construction documents. Interpret and evaluate laboratory and field testing data, ensuring technical accuracy and quality of deliverables. Review drawings and construction activities to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and geotechnical recommendations.
Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, including scheduling field activities, tracking budgets, monitoring project progress, and supporting proposal preparation and cost estimating efforts. Assist project managers with client communication, scope development, and project planning while contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships.
Research and resolve complex geotechnical design and construction challenges by applying sound engineering judgment and industry best practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers, field technicians, and project staff. Effectively communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on projects across a variety of sectors, including transportation, public infrastructure, commercial development, industrial facilities, energy, and communications. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Engineering Intern (Engineer in Training); Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 1-2 years preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
Strong technical writing, analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
