Hands‑On Field Work | Regional Projects | Team Environment

We’re seeking an Exploration Team Member (ETM) to join our Des Moines–based drilling team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor, hands‑on work, operating equipment, and being part of a dependable crew supporting regional infrastructure and development projects.

What You’ll Do

• Operate geotechnical drill rigs (auger, mud rotary, air rotary, coring)
• Perform in‑situ testing (CPT, pressuremeter, rock dilatometer)
• Install monitoring wells and instrumentation
• Lead and work alongside a 2‑person drill crew
• Collect and classify soil and rock samples
• Perform routine equipment maintenance
• Complete field paperwork and DOT logs
• Follow safety, quality, and project standards

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of relevant field or drilling experience
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days
• Required state drilling/well installation license (where applicable)

Preferred:

• In‑situ testing or instrumentation experience
• Environmental, angle, or barge drilling experience
• Iowa or regional drilling license
• Class A or B CDL
