We’re seeking an Exploration Team Member (ETM) to join our Des Moines–based drilling team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor, hands‑on work, operating equipment, and being part of a dependable crew supporting regional infrastructure and development projects.

What You’ll Do
- Operate geotechnical drill rigs (auger, mud rotary, air rotary, coring)
- Perform in‑situ testing (CPT, pressuremeter, rock dilatometer)
- Install monitoring wells and instrumentation
- Lead and work alongside a 2‑person drill crew
- Collect and classify soil and rock samples
- Perform routine equipment maintenance
- Complete field paperwork and DOT logs
- Follow safety, quality, and project standards
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of relevant field or drilling experience
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days
Required state drilling/well installation license (where applicable)
Preferred:
- In‑situ testing or instrumentation experience
- Environmental, angle, or barge drilling experience
- Iowa or regional drilling license
- Class A or B CDL
