General Responsibilities:
| Provide support to or manage the marketing activities of an engineering consulting office or group of offices (division). Develop or maintain marketing materials and programs including but not limited to proposals, advertising, press releases, direct email/mail, social media, conference and tradeshow strategy, exhibits and promotional materials, statements of qualification and brochures. May also support marketing efforts by tracking sales data, maintaining databases and planning meetings and tradeshows. |
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
| Manage the marketing program for a division/office and a team of direct reports. Manage the pursuit/proposal pipeline, develop pursuit strategies, and assist sellers/doers in marketing the lifecycle.Lead CRM adoption in the office and produces marketing reports for leadership.Lead and assist senior marketing strategists with division and office marketing meetings.Work in partnership and align with corporate marketing and communications strategy and is a change agent on initiatives.Create and manage division marketing plans and budgets with tracking return on investment (ROI) utilizing CRM.Lead marketing and communication planning (digital, social, public relations) for a geographic area in partnership with corporate marketing and communications.Lead major pursuit or regional go/no go meetings.Responsible for internal training and maintaining the Terracon brand in the division.Lead market research efforts.Manage marketing budgets and tracks ROI.Lead market research efforts.Build marketing team.Known as a brand expert and owns brand integrity in the region/division.Build culture, is viewed as a leader, and can have crucial conversations to build an effective marketing program. Visible in supporting other marketing professionals in their marketing efforts.Has relationships with the national marketing team and works to gain meaningful change on initiatives. Uses CRM data to produce reports.Develop understanding and be aware of and minimize project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company. Be familiar with company risk policies.Lead safety efforts for team and ensure team follows safety rules and guidelines. Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; demonstrates safety practices. Promote pre-task planning for all projects.Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practices. Engage APRs on projects at their onset.Perform other duties as assigned. |
Requirements:
| Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related degree and 10 years’ experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 14 years’ related experienceProficient in Microsoft and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).Ability to effectively manage, mentor, or train direct reports or teams of people to execute marketing strategies within a division or region. Typically, visible through reports and communication with office and division leaders. Ability to tailor marketing collateral to a target audience.A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required. |
