Terracon is looking for motivated individuals to join our Cedar Rapids team as Driller Assistants/Exploration Team Members. No experience is required. You'll work alongside experienced drilling professionals on projects that help support the development of roads, buildings, bridges, and other critical infrastructure throughout the region.

- Assist drilling crews with geotechnical and environmental exploration projects
- Learn drilling methods, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures
- Support soil and rock testing, test borings, and groundwater monitoring well installations
- Help maintain and prepare drilling equipment and tools
- Drive company vehicles to project sites throughout the region
- Follow Terracon's safety standards and participate in daily pre-task planning
- Work closely with experienced team members while developing technical skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to travel as project needs require
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn a skilled trade
