Position Overview
We are seeking a developing engineering professional to provide engineering and consulting services on a wide variety of projects and clients. This role offers hands‑on experience across field investigations, design support, and construction observation while working closely with experienced Professional Engineers who are invested in your growth.Projects may support clients in public works, transportation, commercial development, communications, energy, and industrial sectors, providing exposure to the infrastructure and development initiatives that shape the Quad Cities region and beyond.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with and participate in field investigations, observations, inspections, and testing using both field and laboratory methods.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses and support design recommendations.
- Review drawings and construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Help prepare technical reports, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Track project progress and budgets, and communicate findings clearly to project teams.
- Work alongside engineering technicians and field crews, preparing daily field reports.
What We’re Looking For
- An early‑career or developing engineer eager to learn and grow under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Interest in gaining exposure to a wide range of project types rather than being siloed.
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred:
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) designation
