Job Description

General Responsibilities:
With firm understanding of foundational application and network and security concepts, this position will be working with other members of the security Archtect and Software developers to discover and mitigate security vulnerabilities in web services and applications.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• With assistance from senior staff or management, use Snyk to discover vulnerabilities within the services running on the web server.
• Analyze and prioritize the discovered vulnerabilities.
• Document the vulnerability and recommend remediation steps.
• Use Snyk to document various libraries and third-party components.
• Use SSDF to develop secure and reliable software
• With the assistance from senior staff or management resolve some of the vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate and Interact with IT security team to learn about security projects.
• Participate in company technology projects as needed.

Requirements:
High school diploma and BS degree in progress in a science or related field (environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, geology). The ideal candidate will have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
