Job Description

General Responsibilities:
Our Total Rewards team is seeking an HR Coordinator who is customer service focused and will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of human resources transactional tasks. This includes initiating onboarding, employee changes, and educating managers on HR processes. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment responding to email, phone, and Teams message requests for support.

This is a hybrid opportunity with the ability to work from home four days per week. Human Resources gets together in-office each Tuesday to make connections and collaborate.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the HR Operations Supervisor, coordinates human resources activities such as new employee onboarding, professional license verifications, training and consulting with operations on a variety of HR related topics.
  • Works with managers regarding the proper implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and process all new hires, terminations and other employee changes in HRIS to ensure accuracy and compliance with law and company guidelines.
  • Resolves routine HR questions and escalate as needed.
  • Promotes consistent application of HR related policies and programs.
  • Train and assist managers and employees with navigating self-service tools.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of employee files, including creating and maintaining accurate files.
  • Assist with special projects as needed and assigned.

Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree in business administration or related field and 3 years’ related experience. Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years’ related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
