Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Performs accurate and timely reports to internal and external customers using prevailing wage details.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine and non-routine moderately complex data and document management functions to ensure the proper preparation of accurate and timely government documentation based on contract terms and government requirements.
- Assist with locating or requesting necessary backup documentation related to prevailing wage, billing or other government compliance tasks.
- Assist with project audits by running reports, pulling documentation and researching compliance discrepancies.
- Set up and maintain prevailing wage information in project registration system
- Assist with the completion of government-required reports including certified payroll reports, apprenticeship tracking, small business utilization, or other required reporting.
- Assist with answering prevailing wage questions for both Federal (Davis Bacon), state, or other prevailing wage projects.
- Assist with preparing employee / fringe benefit statements as requested.
- Upload documentation data into appropriate government or third-party systems, such as Caltrans DIR, LCPtracker or AASHTOware.
- Assist with maintaining an accurate tracking system for prevailing wage projects and certified payroll reports
- Assist with preparing training fund documentation and payment submission
- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects and assignments
- Perform other duties as assigned
