General Responsibilities:
Our corporate office has an immediate opening for a Digital and Content Strategist.

You’ll be a valued member of a fast-paced, talented, and caring team of marketing, communications, and creative, professionals in a company of engineers, scientists, and other curious minds who love helping our clients. To support your work/life balance, this is a hybrid work opportunity.

In this role, you’ll work both independently and collaboratively to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns on digital channels, including websites, email, social media, and other channels as needed. You’ll create dynamic multichannel messages that connect our “Why” with audiences in partnership with content and design experts to support our brand strategy and business objectives. You’ll work closely with our marketing and creative teams to ensure all content aligns with and elevates Terracon’s brand.

You have a passion for digital marketing and building brand experiences tailored to multiple marketing channels. You’re a creative thinker with the ability to bring your expertise with energy and excitement, with an eye on growing our audiences and business. You’re a strong writer and editor with experience translating brand into compelling stories and messaging tailored to multiple marketing channels. You’re a meticulous digital practitioner ready to elevate our profile across multiple platforms, can maintain reporting effectively, create and post content concisely, and consistently.

You have strong project management skills and can organize project information, deadlines, and deliverables for complex campaigns. You have an even stronger team/collaborative orientation and a sense of humor. In a nutshell, you’re talented, and we love working with you (and vice versa).


WHAT YOU'LL DO
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Become a Terracon brand expert: Understand, embody, communicate, and instill the “Why?” of our brand
  • Lead the development and on-platform execution of digital campaigns
  • Set goals and define strategies with our content and marketing team to ensure messages are moving segments into action along the journey.
  • Actively participate in the Corporate Marketing & Communication team’s overall activities, contributing ideas and supporting the objectives of communications clients.
  • Leverage research and insights to identify or craft opportunities to support marketing and brand goals.
  • Independently and in collaboration with other content experts, create digital marketing projects ranging from:
    • Emails and Email journeys, including newsletter creation
    • Website landing pages
    • Website updates
    • Social media posts
    • Social media platform updates
    • Event and webinar set up and promotion
  • Ensure proper build of digital deliverables
  • Use project plans to organize information, deadlines and action items for digital campaigns
  • Update visual elements on digital platforms, working with designers for images and motion pieces, and content strategists for copy updates
  • Organize and maintain information for digital campaigns
  • Maintain quality standards on all projects and assist in review of deliverables
  • Support the digital and creative manager as needed in advancing digital strategy and ensuring consistent application of brand standards, voice, and personality for all content.
  • Support organizational governance and training as part of the team.
  • Support the development and execution of Terracon’s employee social media advocacy program
Safety and Quality
  • Follows safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications or marketing or related field and a minimum of 3 years related experience. Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing and communications, creating content to inform and engage stakeholders and elevate brand and managing digital platforms.
  • Strategic, creative thinking with a proven track record of turning ideas into holistic digital programs.
  • Content development, platform management, and project management skills, including idea research and generation, content development, interviewing, understanding and application of style guides a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and execute efficiently when priorities shift.
  • Ability to build alignment, trust, and productive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated history of collaboration with a range of constituents and clients, including senior leaders/C-suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and editing/proofreading skills; proficiency in AP Style required.
  • Proficient with social platforms such as Sprout, Sprinklr, or Dynamics
  • Proficient with CMS systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics or HubSpot Proficient with email systems and build requirements, such as Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or Salesforce
  • Familiarity with web design and HTML, WordPress environment preferred
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
