Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Data Scientist to leverage AI expertise in addressing innovative challenges across engineering domains, including pavement engineering and beyond. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing AI models to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and implement deep learning models for AI solutions including computer vision, regression, LLM tasks
• Optimize data pre-processing techniques, labeling processes and associated tools
• Prepare and preprocess large-scale raw data at scale and modify it for use
• Evaluate model training processes and optimize for performance
• Collaborate with product stakeholders and communicate key findings and challenges effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, AI or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, C
• Experience in Computer vision, data science projects
• Familiarity with deep learning models like CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformers etc.
• Experience with cloud technologies AWS, Azure is a plus
• Publications or other significant research is a plus

This position has been categorized as a "Remote Only" position. “Remote Only” employees do not have a designated workspace at an office, and typically work from home or another location.

The national standard salary range for this position is $74900-$116100. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
