YOU’LL GET TO:

• Perform Surveys and Collect Data from the Field
• Assist with Stream Evaluations
• Process Collected Information into Useful Formats using AutoCAD, Excel, Word and other Software Programs
• Perform Documented Construction, Stormwater Control Measures and Outfall Inspections
• Perform Engineering Analyses and Calculations
• Assist with Drawings, Permits, and Submissions

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma
• Enrolled in college-level engineering or allied field
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WANT:

• Interest in streams, stormwater, water supply, or wastewater treatment
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks including basic research, data collection, inspections and field observations
• Ability or willingness to learn to work on various software platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, HydroCAD, HEC-HMS or other Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) programs)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction , solve problems, and offer creative and innovative solutions
• Collaborative attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness and ability to occasionally travel and work overtime
