Right now, we are looking for a Regional Construction Quality Manager for our Southeast Region. Someone who is a dynamic leader who wants to lead quality inspections and testing on some of the nation’s largest transportation projects. Working in tandem with senior Terracon staff you will develop a business strategy to identify project pursuits, implement a capture plan and develop pricing and staffing plans. Once the project has been successfully won, you will help lead all efforts on the project site.
The successful candidate will be highly organized and motivated with the ability to lead large teams of inspectors and technicians on $200M+ construction projects. The ability to clearly communicate is key, as well as a thorough understanding of project plans and specifications, and a complete understanding of alternative delivery quality programs as well as more traditional construction engineering and inspection roles.
This position will be on the client construction site, and will require regular travel.

Responsibilities:
- Identify project pursuits and participate in the proposal process.
- Develop and implement a quality management plan for the project.
- Lead the team in performing quality inspections and testing to ensure that work is completed to project specifications.
- Lead local CEI teams
- Document and report quality issues and non-conformances.
- Collaborate with project team members to resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with clients and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement quality control training programs for project staff.
- Manage all aspects of the project, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Relationship and experience with regional DOT’s and Contractors
- 10+ years of experience in Construction Quality management, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- PE status strongly preferred
