Job Description

Come and explore Terracon's award winning intern program! We have opportunities all across the US!

Our program is designed to help young professional grow both technically and professionally. Enough structure is provided so that you will understand expectations and be informed on what you will learn over the summer but there is plenty of flexibility to allow for those spur of the moment learning opportunities!

Some of the favorite components of the program are cohort participation, working with a mentor and the ability to meet and talk with our senior leadership team.

During your internship, you will be able to be "hands on" and learn what it is like to work as a consulting engineer at Terracon. Based on your best fit, you may work within our construction materials, geotechnical, environmental or facilities service lines. You will have a blended experience of both field and office work. While in the field, you may observe concrete pours, conduct field testing, collect samples, and meet with subcontractors. Office activities will include learning about project management, how to complete proposals, and how to best communicate with clients. Of course all of this is based on value of care and concern and our safety culture.

Your voice matters! While you are working on our projects, we want your feedback! Feedback on innovation, how could we do things better or more efficient? Feedback on the program. What could we do differently to increase engagement and the learning experience?
