Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Responsible to implement an Enterprise Integration Platform-as -a Service (iPaaS). Responsible to design, developing, and maintain integrations between ERP systems, internal systems, and cloud systems using an industry-leading iPaaS platform. Responsible to design, developing, and managing APIs and microservices efficiently, and governing with security and user management policies.
Create process documentation for Technical teams and Users to understand the configuration and flow of the integrations.
Analyze, design, document, develop, test, and implement activities related to data integrations and other solutions.
Analyze business requirements and provide recommendations for IT solutions. Participate in company technology projects as needed.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Data integration jobs and workflows.
- Analyzing and improving current system integrations and migration strategies.
- Identifying, debugging, and advising on system errors or architecture issues.
- Devising and reporting on integration development plans and strategies.
- Assisting with the management of organizational databases and retrieval systems.
- Developing asynchronous messaging architectures, rule-based systems, and network architectures.
- Coordinating activities with other developers to ensure that integration projects are completed on time.
- Formulating strategies and designing architectures for systems integrations.
- Ensuring that best practices in integration processes are followed by the organization.
- Perform routine maintenance to Terracon developed and supported applications.
- Conduct analysis of current applications to help provide solutions for necessary enhancements and maintenance.
- Create and/or update documentation that benefits end-users (e.g. how-to manuals) and/or other IT personnel (e.g. program documentation and IT processes).
- Experience working with CI/CD processes.
- Design and develop applications that utilize Terracon’s Software Development Life Process (SDLC).
- Serve as a technical resource for other programmers.
- Develop new applications.
- Conduct research of new technologies and technical questions that arise.
- Develop specifications for project work if necessary.
- Develop project estimates.
- Recommend solutions.
- Utilize appropriate project management techniques to ensure that projects are performed within budget and on time.
- Maintain a high and increasing level of proficiency in software and other technologies supported by the IT Dept.
- Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Maintain quality standards on all projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 years’ experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
- At least six years' experience developing Integrations between various applications, API or related developing experience
- Experience in integration and/or API development Platform configuration experience in enterprise integration systems such as MuleSoft Anypoint, Boomi, MS LOgic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Workato, SoftwareAG, and/or other iPaaS tools
- Experience in Real time, Batch and ETL integrations
- Possess skills in five or more of the following:
- Fluent in several of the following languages/platforms/libraries: C#, JavaScript, VB.NET, ASP.NET
- Experience in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Python/Perl)
- MS Power Apps
- Good Knowledge of Spring boot microservices
- Angular web framework
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Knowledge of structured query language (SQL), e.g., SQL/PSM or Transact-SQL
- Strong understanding of API’s and web service concepts such as REST, SOAP, and XML/JSON business object representations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps (Team Foundation Server)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
