Job Description
General Responsibilities:
This job requires individuals to work outside in varying weather conditions as well as being able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds (e.g. lifting and operating testing equipment, obtaining and carrying material samples). Position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk, stoop, or kneel; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear. Individuals may be required to perform their work on construction sites, near operating heavy equipment, in operating facilities, and adjacent to existing traffic ways. May require overnight travel in support of projects in varying locations.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in drilling operations and instrumentation and monitoring well installation.
• Oversee field monitoring and testing of soils including boring investigations and soil type
  classification. Interpret soil, bedrock and groundwater elevation and quality data.
• Collect soil and rock samples and log field data.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance.
• Perform basic survey

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

The expected salary range for this position is listed below. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
$19.25 - $27.00 per hour
