Job Description
General Responsibilities:
As an Technical Writer with Terracon you will, under supervision of project managers, perform technical and non-technical functions related to client project deliverables and office tasks. Tabulate and prepare data for written reports. Draft and finalize technical reports and associated client deliverables. Adhere to strict safety standards.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Review field documentation prepared by technical staff for completeness
• Review laboratory reports and chains of custody documentation for accuracy and potential data gaps
• Organization pre-project and post-field data
• Manipulate laboratory EDD files for development of report tables
• Provide assistance to field project and management personnel
• Communicate with technical staff to resolve incomplete data and resolve data errors
• Prepare technical project deliverables including reports, drawings, specifications, and work plans
• Submit deliverables to clients through various platforms
• Assist with maintenance of project milestones
• Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all deliverables
• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning, as needed. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with MS suite including Word, Excel, Power Point
• AutoCAD experience desired not required

A bachelor's degree is preferred. English or Environmental-Related Science degree

The expected salary range for this position is listed below. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
$31.75 - $44.50 per hour
