General Overview
Join our Facilities team this summer and gain hands-on experience in building enclosure testing, design documentation, and project coordination. This internship offers a unique opportunity to shadow experienced Project Managers and contribute to real-world construction and facilities projects. Key Responsibilities

  • SPEAK UP WHEN YOU FEEL UNSAFE OR SEE OTHERS BEING UNSAFE. Terracon takes pride in their Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture where our goal is to have everyone go home safely.
  • Shadow Project Managers during on-site observations and testing of building enclosure elements (roofs, exterior walls, below grade, horizontal decks).
  • Have courage and curiosity to ask questions or share learned experiences with others.
  • Assist in generating reports and standard documentation for Facilities.
  • Calibrate and organize testing equipment.
  • Review building codes and design documents.
  • Support the development of design assistance materials for building owners and architects.
  • Collaborate with technicians and professional staff on routine tasks.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in a science-related field such as architecture, construction management, or engineering.
  • The ideal candidate will have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
  • Strong interest in the construction industry and fieldwork.
  • Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
